New Interstate Art Shuttle by Fine Art Shippers Departs on August 18

The next interstate art shuttle by Fine Art Shippers is set to leave New York on August 18 and head toward the West Coast. This regular consolidated service travels across multiple states, giving artists, collectors, galleries, dealers, and other art market professionals a convenient way to move artwork across the country without the cost of booking a dedicated truck.

Route of the August interstate art shuttle

The August shuttle will depart from New York and make its first stop in Pittsburgh, PA. From there, it will continue to Chicago, IL, and Green Bay, WI, before heading west to Colorado. Stops in Colorado Springs and Denver are currently planned.

The route will then continue to Bozeman, MT, and Seattle, WA. In California, the shuttle is scheduled to visit San Francisco, Pebble Beach, La Cañada Flintridge, Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Newport Beach.

On the way back to New York, the shuttle will stop in Albuquerque, Dallas, New Orleans, and finally in Rome, GA. The exact schedule and stops may change as the trip progresses, particularly when additional client requests need to be accommodated.

Why choose consolidated art transportation?

An interstate art shuttle offers a practical alternative to dedicated transportation, particularly for clients who need to move artwork between major art markets but do not require an entire truck.

  • Regular departures. Recurring shuttle routes make it easier to plan pick-ups and deliveries ahead of time.
  • Shared transportation costs. Since several shipments travel together, clients share the cost of the overall trip instead of paying for a dedicated vehicle.
  • Experienced art handlers. Fine Art Shippers’ drivers and art handlers are trained to work with paintings, sculptures, antiques, and other fragile or valuable items.
  • Additional services. Packing, unpacking, and installation can be arranged alongside transportation when needed.

With more than three decades of experience in art logistics, Fine Art Shippers provides specialized art transportation services for artwork of different sizes, materials, and levels of fragility. For clients looking for professional cross-country transportation without the expense of a dedicated truck, a consolidated shuttle can be a convenient option.

Don’t see your location on the list?

Your destination does not necessarily have to be an exact match for one of the scheduled stops. If the route passes near your location, contact the Fine Art Shippers Operations Office and ask whether a pick-up or delivery can be added.

The company can review your request, determine whether a route adjustment is possible, and provide a free shipping quote.
